What did you do? ================ 1. Open https://developer.mozilla.org/ 2. Look at the page. 3. Look at the "Mozilla Docs" drop down at the top of the page What happened? ============== Note the "Mozilla Docs" column in the menu. It contains several obsolete items, or items needing updated links: Firefox OS -- Due to the changes to its prioritization, this probably doesn't need to be so heavily promoted on this page; should it be removed or moved lower? Firefox Marketplace -- This link needs to go. App Center -- This link needs to go. Add-ons -- We need to contemplate if we should replace this with a link to WebExtensions, and if so, when that should happen (it's likely too soon). What should have happened? ========================== These should be changed. What should we replace the items to be removed with? One of these should become Connected Devices, probably. Is there anything else we should know? ======================================
I have noticed this, too. From a content and IA perspective this seems like an important thing to fix. With the removal of "Demos", we also gained additional space in this very prominent place. As it is a prominent place, we might want to consult stakeholders / marketing as in what to put here as e.g. DevTools got a position here as one of our stakeholders as well. I also recommend WebExtensions and maybe Learning Area. Who is driving consultation and a decision here?

I agree we should change this. The decision belongs to Kadir, as well as the responsibility to drive this.

Hoping for some decision making here so bringing this old bug to Kadir's attention. I'll also bring it up in the Monday dev meeting.
