Steps to reproduce:

Open a clean window.
On the current tab open any site that allows to pick a file. E.g. www.virustotal.com
Click "Choose File". A new file browser window opens. Press Cancel on it. It closes.
If Firefox has not crashed, continue. A new tab, open www.virustotal.com, choose to open a file. Press cancel. And so on.
It takes aproximately 7-10 such tabs until Firefox crashes.

OS: Linux x86_64 
Firefox: 45.0.2
Extensions: All disabled.



Actual results:

Firefox crashes.



Expected results:

Firefox should not crash.

thanks for the report but the STR is WFM on ubuntu 64 bit.

Can you provide the data from about:crashes if there are any crashes stored in there?

Probably, not the same. There is no any redirect to other program. Just an opening any browse for file dialog.

I'm pretty sure it's just another case of bug 1244305, same crash report:
