nexus-6p-4 attached to autophone-3 disconnected Friday evening at 8:36PM and has not been able to reconnect since then. dumpsys wifi shows only 2.4Ghz channels. I removed the bssid=f8:c0:01:a3:27:09 from the wpa_supplicant.conf but it doesn't seem to have helped. ifconfig wlan0 shows wlan0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:9A:CD:B8:39:70 UP BROADCAST MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1 RX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000 RX bytes:0 TX bytes:0 If this device has 5Ghz only checked, perhaps we can change the frequency selection back to auto.

van, stephend: can either of you check on nexus-6p-4 and see if changing the frequency selection to auto will help?

it was set to 2.4 only. ive changed it to 5ghz only and it associated to the AP. wifi1.ops.mtv2.mozilla.net# show sessions network mac-addr 00:9A:CD:B8:39:70 0 of 433 sessions matched wifi1.ops.mtv2.mozilla.net# show sessions network mac-addr 00:9A:CD:B8:39:70 1 of 435 sessions matched User Name SessID Type Address VLAN AP/Rdo --------------------- ------ ----- -------------------- -------------- ------- LR-ateam-284230 40021* open 10.252.120.222,V6 ateam L 5230/2
