I'm not sure if this is the fact that they are converted via nsISimpleMimeConverter or if the attachment mime type is not meant for printing, but if you print an email that contains an invitation, the invitation is not printed. I only see an empty page that says "invite.ics" in plain text.

I'd expect the nsISimpleMimeConverter converted attachment to be printed.

Are invitations attached with "Content-disposition: inline" or "attachment" instead?
Also, View > Display Attachments Inline may have to be checked to be included.

Either way, I'd agree that the print should match what is seen on the screen.

Attachment: testcase.eml

Here is an example email. One has Content-Disposition attachment, but the text/calendar attachment which is actually being converted has neither.

Fixed in Version 45.2.0: Invitations to events could not be printed.

But since Version 52.0 the same error occurred.
