Bug 1136918 improved things waaaaay back, but you still can end up selecting more than you want depending on what value your platform sets as the default for layout.word_select.eat_space_to_next_word Tiny pull request incoming to make double-clicking to select the revision only select the revision (no spaces padded on either side) regardless of how that pref is set.
