User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Android 4.4.2; Tablet; rv:46.0) Gecko/46.0 Firefox/46.0 Build ID: 20160502161457 Steps to reproduce: From within an external app (like Google Search app) I clicked on a link which correctly opened Firefox. After reading the page I hit the back hardware back button. Actual results: Firefox closed and did not take me back to the previous app from which the link was opened. This happened on Android 6.0.1 on a Samsung S5 (upgraded recently from Android 5). Expected results: Hitting the hardware back button should have returned to the previous app (this still works under Android 5 on my tablet)
This works for me using a Galaxy S5 (SM-G900F) running Android 5.0 and a Nexus 5p running Android N.
Is this a specific Android 6 problem then? My Tablet running Android 4.4.2 doesn't have this behaviour.
I use Cyanogenmod (withoud google apps) and Android 6.0.1 and do not have this problem.
Then it seems to be a problem with the stock rom for the Samsung S5.
Hi, I tested the issue with Samsung Galaxy S8 (Android 8.0.0) and Lenovo A536 (Android 4.4.2) on latest Nightly and I couldn't reproduce following the steps from description. Can you retry on latest Nightly and see if the issue it's still reproducible?
