Reports on Reddit about Firefox causing bad judder: https://www.reddit.com/r/oculus/comments/4lc9mq/psa_firefox_causes_bad_judder/ From kip: @cyee The judder issues may be a result of lack of oculus platform session integration. Even when not having VR focus, will be consuming resources [5:52] @cyee Will be improved when my patches land but should be testing this behaviour What we should do: This sounds likely not to be an issue with 1.0 API implementation. Let's wait until Kip gets that in and see if this is resolved then.

Thanks for filing this, Casey. I'll review this again once Bug 1250244 (WebVR 1.0) lands and see if we need to do anything more with session handling in the Oculus Platform SDK.
Depends on: 1250244

With the changes in our Oculus support and updated Oculus runtimes, I expect that this is no longer an issue. Is this still occurring for anyone?

Doesn't seem to be an issue any longer.
