User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.11; rv:46.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/46.0
Build ID: 20160502172042

Steps to reproduce:

Only happens on Macbook's Retina display (2560x1600). Plugging in an external display (1920x1080) will not have this problem.

1. Go to Preferences > Search
2. Remove all the search engines except one. E.g. Leave only Google ticked.
3. Search in the search box for something without any results, e.g. basdkjbh
4. Search for something with results, e.g. firefox

If there are at least 2 search engines, this problem won't occur.
Resolution equal to and below 1920x1080 will definitely not have this problem.

Actual results:

The search suggestion box will have 0 height, thus showing no results.

Expected results:

The search suggestion box height should go back to auto height.

Not a recent regression: "In fact this problem has been around for more than a year."
