It looks like this crash signature has been around for a long time but I've hit recently reproducible case. Basically I'm trying to edit an Etherpad. I press ENTER on the keyboard to add a new line, hang for several seconds and then crash.

Phone:
Sony Xperia Z3C D5803 (23.4.A.1.264) w/Android 5.1.1

I am also using Sony Xperia Z3C D5833 with Android 5.1.1, but I cannot reproduce on Nightly or Aurora by following the steps in comment #0.

Anthony, could you provide the etherpad link you were editing?

I'm not able to share the link publicly but I could send it to you by some other means. FWIW I can't seem to replicate this crash anymore. I've rebooted my phone several times since so maybe there was something bad in my cache?

I think we should still keep this bug report open since there are other reports (~100/day on average) but it's probably not worth tracking since I can't provide a reproducible case anymore.

http://mozilla.github.io/bug-signatures-status/#/bug/1281917 does not show the crash in either of the pre-release channels (49.0a2 or 50.0a1. Though it is a low volume crash.
