Hi Amila,
You can start by reading doc on https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Developer_guide/Build_Instructions/Simple_Firefox_build. If you prefer video tutorials: http://codefirefox.com. I don't know exactly how to solve this. I'll try to connect someone on this bug.

Amila, sorry for this, but I doubt that this is a good first bug to work on. You can find a number of better bugs here: http://www.joshmatthews.net/bugsahoy/?unowned=1&simple=1. If you need any help please let me know.
Sebastin, can you please help us figure out if this is caused by youtube.com or by Firefox? E.g. you could check if the same thing happens on other video sites or if changing your user agent string changes the site behavior.

This is caused by the Firefox (I guess). I overrided the user agent string, but it showed the same behaviour. I checked with maker.tv and this problem exists there too.

Thanks, that means this is not a case for evangelism. I fear this behavior may be specific to how Firefox handles videos, moving to the Audio/Video components where hopefully people know if this is intentional.

Chrome introduced this feature recently. Firefox works like all the other browsers but we will add this functionality soon. You can work around the YouTube case by disabling auto-play in the YouTube UI in the meanwhile.
Alastor - can you dup this bug please?
