Loading the page in frames or in a small browser window causes it to be cut in half.

Most sites on the internet are designed for a specific minimum resolution, usually 800x600 these days. Amazon is the only major site I know of that isn't which is why they have large blank spaces in their layout, to accomodate for changes in size. Marking invalid.
