This bug was filed from the Socorro interface and is
report bp-b690573a-8cfd-4c1f-9de0-208942160719.
=============================================================
I'm moving your issue to CORE - IPC component. Activity Streams is an add-on and has nothing to do with your issue.
Component: Activity Streams: Application Servers → IPC
Product: Firefox → Core
Component: IPC → DOM: Content Processes
17amreyes, can you reproduce this crash? And if so, what are the steps to reproduce

I guess this would not be a duplicate of bug 1290280, because bug 1261842 patch landed 10 days after this bug was created

I got a crash matching this signature - https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/e9600c03-5f4c-47a8-b33f-39ee72160831

It wasn't actually a user-visible crash. I just installed the Nightly update using the "Restart Nightly to apply Updates" menu item in the hamburger menu, and when it started up again I had a "you have an unsubmitted crash report" bar. I've seen this pretty frequently after applying an update. This time I looked at the about:crashes to see what the crash was and it was this.
Actually this should be duped to bug 1279293, there's a bunch of discussion there, including how this signature is very generic and covers a wide range of things.
