Details
https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/search?q=innertext shows a couple of pages that mention innerText as proprietary; it is no longer so. Same for https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/Node/innerText . Also, it's defined on HTMLElement, not Node, per spec.

Hm. Where is it in the spec? I have looked all over on both the W3C and WHATWG versions of the latest WD and the only reference I've found says it's still nonstandard.

The standard is https://rocallahan.github.io/innerText-spec/ for now; will move into HTML in https://github.com/whatwg/html/issues/465

MDN Web Docs' bug reporting has now moved to GitHub. From now on, please file content bugs at https://github.com/mdn/sprints/issues/ and platform bugs at https://github.com/mdn/kuma/issues/.
