Details

Win98se (4.10.2222) Mozilla 2002-03-04-03 Possibly a distant relative of <http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=12714> This is, I believe, a regression since 2002-02-28. I have seen similar problems intermittantly before, but now it is consistantly bad. Folder/Summary view, set View->Message->Threaded Select a message at the head of a thread. Open the message. EXPECTED: *N*ext, *P*rev, *B*ack, *F*wd motion controls (keys or _G_o or toolbar) should move relative to the order shown IN THE THREAD/SUMMARY PANE. The user should never see whatever the "natural" order of the messages might be. WHAT I SEE: Motion nearly always leaves the current thread and lands on some message that I don't know or care about.
