Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Android 6.0.1; Mobile; rv:47.0) Gecko/47.0 Firefox/47.0
Build ID: 20160604191656
Steps to reproduce:
1: Open the app after either a restart of the device, or a process termination of the app.
2: Tap on an history tile, search for a term, or enter an address in the addressbar.
Actual results:
No reaction from the app, no loading bar or actual loading of the page.
When a new tab is opened everything works fine for that tab, but the first tab stays in a no loading state.
Expected results:
The page should have loaded.

This works for me with a Nexus 5x using a restart. Firefox needs Gecko loaded before a page can be drawn. Depending on the device this can be slow (multiple seconds).

Hello,
Can you still reproduce the issue?
If the answer is yes, can you update your Firefox to the latest version and see if the problem is still reproducible?
Thanks.
Flags: needinfo?(Joris_klink)
I can reproduce this issue with ff 51.0.3, too. I can't remember a version where this didn't happen. I can't reproduce it every time, but it happens very often (but of course not if `adb logcat` is running -.-).
Devices:
- Nexus 5 Android 7.1 (also happened with Android 7.0.1, Android 6, ...)
- Motorola G3 (Android 5 I think)
This issue is so damn annoying, it happens constantly. Only opening a new tab helps.
I'm on a Moto G 2014, Android 7.1.
Could reproduce this on FairPhone 2 - Android 6(?)
I'm wondering if there is a dup of this with more participation.
And I'm wondering why this is still "unconfirmed". You must have expected this bug, it's too annoying.
My configuration:
- Tab queue enabled
- Full-screen browsing enabled
- duckduckgo as default search engine
- Restore tabs: always restore
One interesting thing: sometimes when one tab does not load, you can copy the current url to a new tab (but sometimes you can't because the url disappears after tabbing in the location bar), and "paste & go" it to another tab. When this tab loads and you get back into the tab overview view, the tab which doesn't load got the same preview image of the tab which loaded (but sometimes not).
