Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:0.9.8) Gecko/20020204 Hi, I hope I'm right here and it's not a bug for the sun-homepage or squid .... I'm using a squid-proxy (version 2.4 stable 4) with user authentication (password and username). I'm using the Java(TM) Plug-in 1.4.0-rc-b91 from Sun. If I connect to a site with java: I had to authenticate again. (First problem.) Okay, it's an other programm, but is there no solution to give the java-plugin the password directly from mozilla, so the java-VM can use it for authentication? On some pages I have problems with the authentication for the java-plugin. If you go to https://www.1822direkt.com/onlineb.ns4.html and authenticate again for java, he can not inited the "Online Banking" Applet. But if you go to another page with java and you authenticate there (for example: www.die-loewen.de) the "Online Banking" Applet works fine, if you start it after this.
