+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #1245567 +++ Android 2.3 Gingerbread is no longer supported as of Firefox 48, so we can remove relevant code now.

Firefox 49 coming next week drops the support for OS X 10.6-10.8. ESR 45 still supports the legacy systems but we can remove the related code as we don't have download buttons for ESR.
