1295355 - Firefox occasionally starts navigating (or searching) while I'm typing in the awesomebar, as if I pressed Enter

(Unfortunately I don't have *reliable* STR for this bug, but I'm filing because I've been hitting it repeatedly and it's bad enough that it needs to be tracked somewhere.)

STR for me (once a day or so):
 1. Open a new tab with Ctrl T.
 2. Start typing a search term to filter your awesomebar history. (E.g. I just started typing "dev platform"

ACTUAL RESULTS:
Around once per day, my typing will be interrupted and I will be navigated to a Google search page for my partially-entered text.  E.g. in this case (when I was typing "dev platform", all of a sudden I ended up at https://www.google.com/search?q=dev+pl&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8   (a search page for "dev pl")

It seems like the location bar is synthesizing a phantom "enter" keypress, or the equivalent, at some point during my text entry.

NOTES:
This happens to me once every day or so, it seems like. When it happens, my system is usually loaded down (via a compile job running in the background), and I've usually just re-focused my Firefox window after it having been un-focused for a few minutes.

I'm using Nightly 51.0a1 (2016-08-13) with e10s disabled, and I have a bunch of add-ons installed & enabled, in case they happen to be involved:
