Currently, variables.tfvars is created in the Jenkins jobs. We should pull this from S3 so there's once place we change them.

Hi, Yousef Alam. I am new to Mozilla. I'd like to help with this task but I have absolutely no idea where to begin.

  • What is variables.tfvars? Is it a file? Is it related to https://terraform.io ?
  • From your description it appears that variables.tfvars is created by Jenkins jobs and uploaded to S3. Is this correct?
  • It sounds like you want variables.tfvars to be automatically downloaded. Downloaded to where?
  • Why is it necessary to download it?
  • Where should the script to download the file run?
  • How should the script be triggered?
