Print preview has a hard time rendering pages that have multiple tables and ads
on it. The page indicated is a case in point. print preview on

http://developer.java.sun.com

also displays the first page all wrong.
Confirming on Build ID: 2002031903 (0.9.9+) Windows 98.

Much of the text of the web page does not appear.

You must be logged into CBS Marketwatch (free reg blah blah blah) to see the page.

check

http://developer.java.sun.com

for another site that doesn't work ALWAYS.
Check out bug 122048 for a related print preview fix for sites with applets. If
you are having another problem at developer.java.sun.com, then please open a new
bug for that problem, unless the problem closely mirrors an existing bug, such
as this one.
Since I filed this bug, I know I didn't file it because "applets" weren't being
displayed correctly. The pages on developer.java.sun.com don't display even if
there are no applets on the page.

Reporter, could you try this problem again on a new build? You can download an
updated nightly build from

ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/nightly/latest/mozilla-win32-installer-sea.exe

Close Mozilla and run that program. Running a nightly build can be a little
risky. Please back up your Mozilla data first, including your bookmarks. If
you'd like, you could wait for 1.0, the next milestone release. That will
probably be released within a short period.
Just downloaded a new nightly build: 2002040708

http://developer.java.sun.com

does not work correctly.

I think the problem is with rendering tables in print preview (I could be wrong)

Reproducibility: Always
we currently aren't rendering applets in PrintPreview

I think this is a problem with the rendering of tables (complex ones). The page
I just tried to print had no applets/plugins but still didn't print out right in
Mozilla. I have RC2 buildid: 20020510 on Win XP

The URL is:
http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=586&ncid=721&e=3&u=/nm/20020521/wl_nm/southasia_dc_57

This bug should be fixed because Moz prints wrongly on many pages that have tables.

--->marking WFM -- the problem no longer happens as orriginal stated and this
bug has been morphed enough!

Reporter: Please download a fresh nightly trunk AND branch build and try to
reproduce the printing problem with multiple tables when no plugins or java are
on the page. If you are able to reproduce, please file a new bug in the correct
component and attach the snippet of HTML that is causing the problem. Thank you!
