STR: 1) load the PDF attached (it can take a few seconds) 2) print (with PDF CReator or MS XPS Document Writer e.g.) Result: "An error occurred while printing."

See if the following fixes it for you: Go to "about:config" Reset the value for "security.sandbox.content.tempDirSuffix" to null. Let me know if that fixes it, please. Thanks! - Kev
No, it doesn't change anything. My guess is the PDF has complex canvas in the upper right side, the rendering is long and printing too. Maybe there is a check in the code which cancels printing after a long delay.

Still happening on Win10. (Not on Mac.) It's a long shot, but worth retesting after bug 1019551 is fixed.
