It shows in ACDSee and Paint Shop Pro. The image has an error in it. i just
thought that Mozilla could be better with images that has errors in them

As a note, Netscape 4 does not show the image, nor does IE 5.0. GIMP does.

This is a dup, though I don't know the other bug number offhand.
libpr0n doesn't deal gracefully with a decoder returning an error,
and flushes the image instead of trying to retain what has decoded
so far.

I'm running Mozilla 1.0 on Windows XP Professional, been running nightly builds
of Mozilla since 0.8x... This jpeg error handling problem is severe enough for
me to stop using Mozilla completely for now. A number of pages I visit have no
displayable images whatsoever (very bad for image-based navigation).
Creating a new profile seems to fix the problem. (My old profile was Mozilla
too though, not Communicator, so I'm not sure what went wrong and where.)
Fixed by bug 76776 checkin.

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win 9x 4.90; de-AT; rv:1.1a+) Gecko/20020705
I can still see this bug with a different image.
The previously attached picture works okay.
Cleared cache, loaded image: -> error message.
Reloaded: -> error message
Curiosity: If I load a URL after the image leaves the error message and then go
back to the image, it shows up okay and stays on-screen.

I can see that this bug is fixed in my home build (WinXP Pro 2002070602)
Bernd: I have no problem loading or reloading your "new image"
