User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64; rv:47.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/47.0 Build ID: 20160604131506 Steps to reproduce: I was sitting idle. I had netflix, canvas for my collage, and yahoo open. Actual results: A website poped up that I did not open and I was away. it was trying to foolme into updateing useing its java script. the url is https://tahvashemale-japan.net/310403747512/1471832324833947/firefox-patch.js Expected results: the tap should not have opend. I am running scans now.
We are aware of this. Unfortunately, there is not a lot we can do to stop ads from offering you fake Firefox updates. We're aware that these might possibly be caused by ads on Yahoo. There's more information in bug 1282106.
