12980 - Conflict with Palm desktop software causes crash using menus

I'm still crashing when clicking on the menu bar after running apprunner.
I crash often in _InitProcMenu or something similar.

This is a serious blocker for me. I can't work like this.

This turns out to be a conflict with the Palm desktop software that puts
an item in the menu bar. Adding dependency on an uber software conflicts bug.

I think I've just checked in a fix for this... I've been running with Palm since
last night, and I changed a few things that seem to fix the problem.

I'll wait for simon to verify before closing the bug

[I believe this is the same conflict that Word 5.1 & 98 has with Palm Desktop. I
could check, but don't want to crash. ;]

I declare this bug dead, as no one I know, myself included has seen it in weeks.

Installed Palm Desktop 2.5, and not seeing any crashes. Will leave Palm software
running for further study.

Verifying as WORKSFORME.
