On Windows: Click Hamburger menu - notice the fade in/fade out effect On Linux(gtk3) builds: Click Hamburger menu - no fade in/fade out effect It does seems like an incosistency with different builds of Firefox. I feel gtk3 does enable the support for these effects
Can you run mozregression, http://mozilla.github.io/mozregression/, to find if this ever worked on Linux and if it got broken at some point? If you can do that then it usually will help get a bug fixed a lot sooner.

I used to feel an inconsistency while using windows and Linux at the same time & that's how i saw this. As far as i can remember i dont think it worked.

Just want to add that its not limited to the hamburger menu only but extends to downloads, bookmarks etc.
Thanks that makes sense. All of those that you mentioned use the same backend implementation.
