Details

Recent regression - the mouse cursor is now showing the stock "X" cursor (the
default pointer for the root window) instead of the normal arrow in menus
(both pulldown and context).

Seen both in a CVS pull from ~10am pacific 3/11/2001 and 2002031103
nightly rpm.
I see this on Linux, but not Solaris, same CVS pull date (2002-03-15 18:03:27),
same window manager.
In a Red Hat Linux 7.2 environment, this bug occurs when using FVWM (version
2.2.5), but not when using KDE (version 2.1.1). My guess is that Mozilla is
relying on the existence of a resource that only the latest-generation window
managers (KDE, GNOME) define. This problem appears to be in both RC1 and RC2.
I see this on Linux (RH7.1) using FVWM 2.2.4.
This is with Mozilla 1.0 RC3 (BuildID 2002052309)
Same symptoms with FVWM 1.23r (yeah, it's a bit dated but it still works fine).
Same symptoms with FVWM 1.24r, or even without any window manager.
(kernel 2.2.19, XFree86 3.3.6, Mozilla 1.0rc2)
This worksforme with build 2002052817.
I can no longer reproduce this with build ID 2002052821.

Looks fixed to me.

Thanks guys!
Argh - broken again in Mozilla 1.0 (BuildID 2002052918)!
Again or still? Mozilla 1.0 may not have gotten the fix that went onto the trunk.

bryner?
The fix for this is checked in on the trunk and branch, and will appear in
Mozilla 1.0.1.
