User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:50.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/50.0 Build ID: 20160903004009 Steps to reproduce: 1. Visit http://www.techrepublic.com/article/how-to-set-up-windows-10-on-the-raspberry-pi/#ftag=RSS56d97e7 2. Highlight the title (or also subtitle & date line) by dragging from the end of the title to the upper blue bar (bar that has social media links on the right) Actual results: The text is no longer selected, but remains highlighted. If you try to select other portions of the page, the title won't unhighlight. Forcing the page to rerender causes the highlight to go away.

Did you test with e10s enabled on FF50, Adam?
Ok, I found a pattern to reproduce it, even with old versions of Firefox. STR: Highlight by dragging from the end of the date line to the blue menu bar (included). Repeat that without releasing the mouse left click. After 2 or 3 highlight moves, selection gets stuck.

Bulk-downgrade of unassigned, >=3 years untouched DOM/Storage bug's priority.
