Using 1999090109 M10 on win and 1999090108 on Mac and Linux, IMAP only, the
"Login Failed" dialog comes up when the user needs the Login dialog.
This happens after an incorrect password has been entered and continues to come
up for the IMAP account even when Get Msg has been clicked. Messenger has to be
closed, then reopened to get to the Login dialog.

1. Launch Messenger (make sure you don't have your password hardcoded in your
prefs.js file or that "Remember Password" is checked in preferences).
2. Select an IMAP server and click Get Msgs
3. When the Password dialog comes up, type in an incorrect password.

Result: After about 30 seconds a "Login Failed" dialog will come up.
Expected: The Login Dialog to come us so I could enter the correct password, at
this point the user will not get a chance to type in a correct password unless
they close Messenger and open it again.

Esther, can you try this out on pop too? I revamped password dialog stuff for
pop and imap earlier this week and I'm guessing I broke this functionality in
imap as it used to work before.

For pop, type in the wrong password and see if you get prompted again.

Okay I have a fix ready to go for this once the tree opens. I wasn't clearing
out the password for the imap server if it failed (i.e. if you typed in an
incorrect password).

changing QA to esther since she's the boss this week =).

Fix checked in. To verify, when you are prompted for your imap password, enter
an incorrect password. Verify that you are told the login failed and that you
are then prompted for a password again.
Using 19990908 builds on mac win and linux POP is working...will check IMAP when
I get a build after 9/8.
Esther is always the "boss" :-)
*ouch* is this the subtle bully effect Seth and I were afraid of last night?
redirecting the bully pressure through someone else?? =)

(For others reading this bug report, we are joking!)
Using IMAP accounts on 19990916 build on win98 I get the "Login In" dialog each
time I type in the wrong password, and 19990914 build on linux I get a Login in
Failed dialog then the Login dialog (which is correct according to comment on
9/8) and Mac build 19990914, I can't test yet, it still requires remember
password=true.   Still waiting for mac.

OK, using 19990922 on win98, mac and linux this is fixed for both POP and IMAP.
All produce the Login Failed dialog first then the Login dialog. Verified
