1303169 - nytimes.com not displaying cracked plugin icon in toolbar; fails to display the plugin door-hanger for block-list versions

Preq: Nightly & Adobe 18.0.0.360
Access Control Panel and verify Adobe Flash Player is not installed on the system; if necessary uninstall Adobe Flash	
Launch Nightly with a clean profile	
Access about:addons - Plugins section and ensure there is no display for Adobe Flash Player (Shockwave)	
Access the Flash Archive and download & extract Adobe Flash Player 18.0.0.360	
Install flashplayer18_0r0_360_win.exe and apply the Notify me to install updates option	
Start Firefox Nightly and access about:addons-Plugins	
EXPECTED: "Shockwave Flash 18.0 r0 displays message:
Shockwave Flash is known to be vulnerable and should be updated Update Now"
Access a site known to use Flash such as nytimes.com	
EXPECTED: "The plugin icon is displayed in red and crossed out
There is a message: Nightly has prevented the outdated plugin ""Adobe Flash"" fro running on http://nytimescom. [Continue Blocking]  [Allow] buttons are also displayed"
Actual while cnn.com and flashgames247.com display the plugin door-hanger the nytimes.com site does not
*Note: appears to be Mac related. Windows & Linux fine.
Repeat for Adobe 22.0.0.192 and the results are the same. The other sites display all expected messages. The nytimes.com site doesn't.

Is this with or without bug 1298083 ? If this is currently nightly without bug 1298083, this might be nytimes.com just not using Flash, because we hid it from navigator.plugins. In which case bug 1298083 would probably cause nytimes.com to resume attempting to use Flash and we'd see the proper in-page UI.

hmm possible "eue" all is well in today's build. I see the expected plugin notices for Flash and nytimes.com
Please reference attached screenshot, also it is with 1298083
