Tables throughout the site (such as the table titled "Special characters in regular expressions" on the indicated page) seem to have rows with vertical alignment set to middle. This setting requires a lot more effort to scan through the table and find the beginning of the meaning for each special character. Setting the alignment to "top" would improve readability.
