Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64; rv:52.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/52.0
Build ID: 20160922030437

[Affected versions]:
- Nightly 52.0a1

[Affected platforms]:
- Windows 10, Ubuntu 16.04, Mac OS X 10.11

[Steps to reproduce]:
1. Visit https://reviewboard.mozilla.org/r/77950/diff/1/
2. Zoom to 300%
3. Ctrl+F to open the Find bar
4. Type "mozilla {"
   (without any quotes)

[Expected result]:
- There shouldn't be any flicker when going to the next search result.

[Actual result]:
- White flicker is noticed when going from one search result to another. Please see the attached screen-cast for more details.

[Regression range]:
- I'll investigate more and post the results as soon as possible.

[Additional notes]:
- The issue is not reproducible if the preferences "findbar.modalHighlight" and "findbar.highlightAll" are set to false.
Priority: -- → P4
There's still a mild flicker, because 'Highlight All' draws white rectangles for all other search results, but the effect is much less jarring than is shown in the screencast.
I don't see a way to create a solid fix, so this'll prolly end up being a WONTFIX.
Priority: P4 → P5
Severity: normal → S3
