Steps to reproduce:

Hello, 
when I update my firefox from version 49.0.0 to 49.0.0.1 I noticed something strange in my bookmarks. Just look in attach. [ file is save as gif, so you need open this in browser ]


Actual results:

Five bookmarks recently added to my favorite bookmarks was automatically cloned.

You seem to have some add-on or user style that hides stuff from the bookmarks menu. The bookmarks you see at the top are the 5 most recent bookmarks, and if you didn't have those tweaks, that would be obvious.
Please try Safe mode and you'll see what I mean https://support.mozilla.org/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode

you can right click those and choose "hide recently bookmarked".
