Found an example of how to plug nagios in bug 1295196. I'll be needing the FQDN of the production workers beforehand.
With bug 1317747, we'll have the nagios configs in place. Then it's a matter of enabling it in the IT puppet repo, which isn't too difficult.
Closing this now, we've gotten this by default when we CoT enabled workers, both beetmoverworker and balrogworker.
