BuildID: 2002031104

The "Navigator" preferences don't seem to save for one of my profiles (one that
was converted from communicator - the one I created in mozilla seems to work
just fine.) When I enter a homepage, or change my button selection, and click
"OK", next time I go to the "Navigator" preferences, all the fields are blank.
Doesn't appear to save the information, either (i.e., not just a display issue),
because when I set a homepage and re-start the browser, it doesn't go to any
homepage.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to Edit/Preferences => Navigator with a converted profile
2. Enter a new homepage or change your button selection
3. Click "OK"

Actual Results: didn't save as expected

Expected Results: Should have set my homepage or changed my toolbar button
selection

I have similar problem.
I cannot save any preferences (probably it's preferences UI problem).
I make changes e.g. change my proxy, click ok.
Then I open the prefences dialog again, and I see the old value. (This is
without restarting the browser).

I don't know how I proveked this situation.
Basically what I did is described below.
I installed differenent Mozilla's (between 1.0 and the lates TRUNK build).
I installed a couple of skins.
I was always using the same profile.

Yeasterday, I noticed this problem, because somehow my profile info was changed
( I had lost the line with
user_pref("network.proxy.type", 1);
So my dialog looked like I have a proxy enabled but it the radio-button didn't
reflect this state (it was showing Direct Connection).

I found out that in JavaScript console there were messages generated.

Error: val has no properties
Source File: chrome://global/content/bindings/radio.xml#radiogroup.selectedItem
(setter)
Line: 5

This messages is generated everytime I select Proxies (in the advanced catagory)
in the preferences dialog.

This happens with Build 2002082308, on Windows NT.
The same problem also happened with Build 2002082108 from latest-1.0
and also with Build 20020818xx from latest-1.1

I will try this with a new profile once I finish writing this comment.

I have tested this with another old profile, and there was no problem.
What should I delete from my current profile (and probably back it up, and
analyze it, attach it here) to correct the problem?
