Details
If the plan in bug 1308660 works, for large documents we might want to find ways to split the work that happens in reflow into multiple events off the main event queue.
While interruptible layout has proven to be difficult (in terms of interrupting in ways that reliably save work), one of the things we could certainly do is split out text measurement into a separate event, since that has to happen prior to reflow.
