I am not sure, but may be a parser issue. The problem is with the source:

<head><title>MARC: msg 'Re: libc/1427: gprof does not profile threads <synopsis 
of the problem'</title></head> 

Note: removing "<" before "synopsis" renders the page properly

"<synopsis" eats up the "</title>" (correctly).  And then bug 42945 sets in.

As a note, the HTML is pretty bogus.
