Steps to reproduce:

Open Google maps with latest FF 49.0.1 on Mac OS. Trying to zoom in/out with pinch on trackpad (not scrolling!).


Actual results:

Zoom not changed. Zoom from trackpad can be changed only with scroll function.


Expected results:

Zoom change for pinch action on trackpad.

I observe same broken behavior in Nightly 52.0a1 20161025030205 on Mac 10.12. Works on Safari.

Want to clarify - pinch doesn't work on any website, not only on Google Maps (on Mac)

This is fixed for Google Maps in Firefox 55 and up. We now translate a pinch gesture into Ctrl+wheel.

Bug 688990 is the bug about generic pinch zooming on regular websites.
