Based on bug 1311022 comment 11, we should split the hg NFS mount into a separate area for users vs 'main' to offer up separate snapshot policies, and potentially throw more spindles at the volume. During a TCW, we'll need hg to be read-only for around 2-3 hours in order to sync the data into a new volume, and then make it appear in the same location. No client-side changes needed: we've used this technique before with the bundles subdirectory.
