Details
From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:0.9.9+) Gecko/20020315
BuildID: 2002031508
Using either manual or automatic proxy settings (Proxy server in this case is
Squid 2.4Stable4, same results with 2.4Stable1), cannot authenticate with proxy
server. This was working fine up to build 2002031208. Switching to that build
still works fine.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Set proxy settings to a proxy whixh requires authentication
2. Attempt to visit any URL via the proxy.
3. Fill username and password to Proxy dialog
Actual Results: Sending credentials to the proxy merely results in the same
dialog reappearing over and over.
Userid and password are OK. Simultaneous runs of build 2002031208 and 2002031508
used and 1208 works, 1508 does not.
Expected Results: Authentication should succeed.
I have about 500 users of Mozilla here that must use an authenticating proxy.
This is a showstopper for us.
