From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/4.61 [en] (OS/2; U)
BuildID: 2002031508
On browser of OS/2 build, I can easily click a tooltip which appears
by putting mouse cursor on tab or button.
After I click a tooltip by right mouse button at once then mozilla browser
components (buttons/tabs/menus/URL field) no longer respond to right mouse
button.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Put mouse cursor on tab and a tooltip appears.
2. Move mouse cursor onto the tooltip. (Modern skin is easier to do so...)
3. Click the tooltip by right mouse button.
Actual Results: Browser components (buttons, tabs, menus, URL field...)
doesn't respond to right mouse button until restart mozilla.
Expected Results: right mouse button keeps working,
This bug originally reported for Linux build at bugzilla-jp:
http://bugzilla.mozilla.gr.jp/show_bug.cgi?id=1877
Original reporter said that dragging site icon (left of URL field) to Personal
toolbar was a case he can put mouse pointer on a tooltip and click it.
However no other guys can reproduce it on Linux and Win32 because it seems
very hard (almost impossible) to click a tooltip by mouse.
So I report this as OS/2 bug at this time, but I think this is hidden bug
of all platform.
In other words, you will get a problem if you can click a tooltip on your
platform.

On Win32, I can place mouse pointer on tooltip by dragging site icon
to Personal toolbar. But I cannot click it. How is on Linux...??

I don't understand. The bug in Japanese bugzilla was opened against Linux, and
you cannot drag and drop on the Os/2 build.
What specifically does the bug say about OS/2?

Oops,
I'm very sorry. Please read RMB in a first report as LMB.
Yes, originally this was posted to bugzilla-jp as Linux bug
but no one (excepr eriginal reporter) can reproduce it on Linux yet.
I can reproduce it very easy on OS/2 then I post it as OS/2 bug to here.
(I don't have Linux.)
Anybody can reproduce this on Linux, This should be "all" as OS.
The key of bug is "click tooltip by LMB". No D&D is needed to do it
on OS/2. D&D is a step for Linux and Win32 and this is an only way
to put mouse pointer on tooltip on Win32/Linux.

I see this problem on OS/2 but I can't do it on Win32 - as soon as the mouse
enters the tooltip, it disappears.
Can someone recreate this on Linux?

Testcase HTML file from original reporter.
Steps to reproduce is also written in this file.

Original reporter could reproduce this bug on 0.9.9/Linux and 2002032021/Linux
by the testcase.
He mentioned that using gnome+sawfish or twm for window manager made
no difference.
I tried the testcase with Win32 but I could not reproduce.
(I could click tooltip by LMB but mozilla components never died.)

Very weird. On Windows the tooltip passes the mouse event down.
On OS/2 it gets the clicks and dies.
I'll be checking linux again.
