On a lower end system when you launch the browser with several pinned tabs, those tabs aren't immediately visible. First you see the Start Page regular tab open and then a second or more later the pinned tabs show up. This causes a brief moment of panic thinking the pinned tabs were lost. Steps to reproduce: 1. Use a low end machine or a high end machine under CPU load 2. Create several pinned tabs. 3. Close and relaunch the browser Results: You'll see the regular tab Mozilla Firefox Start Page load and then a second or more later you'll see the pinned tabs appear. Expected results: Pinned tabs should appear at the same time as the regular tab, not afterwards.
This sounds like a dupe of bug 1442694, which I believe dthayer is poking at.
