User Story
On Oct 13, Mozilla launched a global Equal Rating Innovation Challenge to spur innovation in bringing the next wave of people online. The challenge is focused on identifying creative new solutions, and providing US$250,000 in funding to bring these solutions to the market. Mozilla’s goal is to challenge existing approaches (that may be too centered on massive infrastructure solutions that are cost prohibitive, or too focused on affordability where we may be forced to make unattractive compromises). We seek solutions based on local knowledge and especially encourage entrepreneurs, designers, researchers, and innovators all over the world from all over the globe to apply. The central information hub for the challenge is www.equalrating.com, providing reports, analyses and ongoing updates. The submission form openened on Nov 1 (https://equalrating.com/submission-form/) Mozilla Related: Mozilla Issues Agenda: Digital Inclusion, Decentralisation

I can also provide localization for the chosen snippet copy in French, German, Portuguese, Spanish, Polish if that helps.

Hi Alex,
Thanks for filling out our form.
I think the innovation challenge could be a great series of snippets. I set some time up next Tuesday for us to talk about your campaign, please feel free to invite anyone else to our meeting. I understand we are in different time zones so if the meeting time I set up doesn't work for you, let me know, and we can make other arrangements.
Looking forward to getting you content out into the world.

Thanks Wes! Anything I can do to get you everything you need (localization?) so we can start with a "submission open" snippet shortly after our meeting? Sorry for the German impatience. ;-) No, seriously, if there's anything we can do before Tuesday, let me know.

Hey Alex,
No need to apologize, I completely understand wanting to get content out the door.
Before I can push your snippet live, I need to get it okayed by Firefox stakeholders in my Wednesday creative review meeting. After your content gets the okay, I'll put it out into the world in English.
While I have you, I was wondering if your landing page is localized. If so could you send me the URLs?
Thanks
Wes

Hey Alex,
I was able to make some tweaks to your snippet and get it in the Dev snippet channel; I am waiting on confirmation from one more person to see if I can land your content into the Release channel. I realize it is getting too late in the game for your snippet to drive sign up for the Equal Rating Innovation Challenge, but at least the extra exposure will be able to bring more attention to your content.
Apologies for how long this has taken to get off the ground.

Hi Wes, belated thanks for the push - delivered that in person to Michele in Hawai along with the ask to give us a heads-up before you go live with a snippet to not smash our server ;-)
It gave the site a boost, really. And we much appreciate it. We're currently in the phase of announcing the selected semi-finalists. We won't disclose much project info, yet, because we want to have the big splash around Demo Day in New York, March 9.
Let's talk at some point where you see it would make sense to think about another snippet. Any guidance will help.
Alex

Hey Alex,
Sorry about your site, next time I will do a better job of getting you specifics about your snippets launch date.
I blocked some calendar space off for your big splash in March. I'll get in touch with you in early February, and we can discuss your next snippet. If you would like to meet before then, feel free to reach out.
Thanks,
Wes
