Details

Summary: Ctrl+T (Open new tab) doesn't work when page starts loading Build ID: 2002031503 Using CTRL+T in the first few seconds after a page starts loading does not open a new tab, providing other tabs are not already open. However, if the single tab that is open is showing (i.e. not set as hidden in the preferences), right clicking on it and selecting "New Tab" works fine. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open browser. 2. Begin loading a page (works best on slow connections or slow sites 3. Press Ctrl+T immediately. Expected Result: A new tab should open up Actual Result: No new tab will be displayed until the loading gets to a certain point (no idea what). Usually after a few seconds it will work again. Right clicking and opening a new tab will always work.
sounds a lot like bug 76495?
check out bug 131635, which seems to describe the same thing but with all keyboard shortcuts and not just New Tab.
try that again?
