Details
From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:0.9.9) Gecko/20020311
BuildID: 2002031104
The 'Sender' column contains the first entry in the 'To' list.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. I don't really know. This is what I did.
I installed Netscape 6.2 (yeah, I know!) and it exhibited this problem.
I then installed Netscape 6.1.1 (glutton for punishment) and it was still there.
I check with other users of Mozilla if they had this problem. They said they
didn't. So...
I then installed Mozilla 0.9.7 (because I had it handy). Same problem
I then installed Mozilla 0.9.9. No improvement.
I then uninstalled Netscape and Mozilla, deleted everything I could find that
was Netscape or Mozilla related in the registry and reinstalled Moxilla 0.9.9.
Same problem.
Actual Results: in a mail from 'x@my.com' to 'y@my.com, z@my.com', the sender
column contains y@my.com.
Expected Results: the sender column should contain 'x@my.com'

Please see bug 114533. If you have your "sent" folder set up this way, one
workaround is to use the Bcc: option instead. If this clears things up, please
mark this bug resolved (feel free to tell the folks working on bug 114533 that
this is absolutely, positively not version-dependent or installation-related
;-)); otherwise, post a follow-up comment and we'll take it from there.
