Hello Mozilla team,
if I press the volume keys from my keyboard and the Firefox tab with ampya.com is active, then not only the volume will be changed, but also the play/pause function.
I have tested it with Firefox Release (49.0.2), Beta (50.0) and Nightly (52.0a1) with Windows 10 Build 14393.447 and 14965 (Fast Ring) on different devices with clean profiles.
Other browsers like IE11, Edge, Chrome and Opera are only changing the volume as it should. All my browsers are 64-bit builds.
I have asked other community members to test it, and they confirm it with Win10 but not with Windows 7 and Linux (Ubuntu). So it seems to be a Win10 specific bug.
Not specific to Win 10, I can reproduce the issue on Win 7 with FF49 or older versions like FF29.

Summary: Win10 / Firefox: keyboard volume keys are also activate the play/pause funktion at ampya.com → Keyboard volume keys are also activate the play/pause controls at ampya.com
Jim - Do you deal with input on Windows? It is most likely an input or video controls issue.

Sounds like a keyboard event handling problem in the page. Masayuki, any thoughts here? Using dev tools I looked for event handlers on that play button but didn't see anything. The button will change state in response to all sorts of random key events, including arrow up/down, page up/down, arr left/right, space bar, etc..

Yeah, looks like that the page does toggle Play/Pause with any unknown keydown events.
Currently only we dispatch VolumeUp and VolumeDown keyboard events when we receive WM_APPCOMMAND messages which are caused by key (bug 865561).
So, if some environments don't post WM_APPCOMMAND at pressing VolumeUp or VolumeDown, that causes usual WM_KEYDOWN. Then, we must be able to see same symptom even on the other browsers.
So, this bug should be moved to Tech Evangelism or marked as INVALID.
