Details
In mozilla 0.99, when composing messages, it is often nearly impossible to click in the "to" field in order to type there! A workaround is to click in the body, and shift-tab twice - one can then type in the 'to' field, albeit that the cursor does not appear, and there is no autocomplete. This occurs about 2 times in 3, and depends on how the message is started (Ctrl-M never seems to work; File->New Message seems to work occasionally.) It also depends on precisely how you click! 'Reply' is OK; 'Forward' is not. Probably related - if you have multiple BCC recipients, and cut/paste them into the field, only one of them actually appears visibly.

This is a KDE problem. The work around is either to use gnome, or activate another window and then reactivate the message compose window or turn off the recycled compose window by add the following pref inyour prefs.js file: pref("mail.compose.max_recycled_windows", 0); *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 130581 ***
