RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 1269807

People

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:53.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/53.0
Build ID: 20161114043454

Steps to reproduce:

I have the same 64 bit plugins installed/linked to in both /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins and /usr/lib64/mozilla/plugins on Linux Fedora 24, but nightly refuses to use them.

Actual results:

The nightly version of 64 bit Firefox up to 53.0a refuse to even acknowledge that the plugins are in the 2 libraries listed above (the only one it will use is Adobe Flash), even plugins installed by the operating system on Fedora 24 Linux, but the 49.0 version of 64 bit Firefox does use all the plugins. I have the plugins installed/linked to in both directories listed above because earlier version of nightly 64 bit required them to be in /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins, but I don't know if that is still the case.

Expected results:

I would be expecting about:plugins in the url bar to show all 64 bit plugins installed not just Adobe Flash.
