1317971 - Version number is reset when switching between OS versions

Steps:
1. go to an old version 9 older than he latest) 
ex: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/48.0/releasenotes/ 
2. Switch from Desktop to Android 

Expected Results:
- I should be reading 48.0 Rel notes for Android

Actual Results: 
- I am send to 50 Rel notes
- I am able to read 48 only If i modify the url. 

NOTES:
- I can never go directly to 48 Android notes from Release notes page.
- while this might be ok for iOS as we are asynchronous there for Android and Desktop are in the same release cycle. 
- Neither previous iOS rel notes are accessible from rel notes page.
