We had an issue where first nexus-6p-1 disconnected from usb then 3.5 hours later nexus-6p-2 disconnected from usb on autophone-1. Repeated reboots did not resolve the issue.

I tried to fiddle with this remotely using Intel's powertop utility where I changed the "Good" usb devices which had autosuspend enabled to "Bad" devices which were not autosuspended. This change is not permanent and does not survive reboots but after making the change and rebooting autophone-1 both nexus-6p-1 and nexus-6p-2 were visible again.

Maybe we can use this going forward in the future.
