From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:0.9.9) Gecko/20020311 BuildID: 2002031104 Viewing attachment 74757 [details] (for bug 131768) at 1152x864, there are 3 cases (example A, B, C and 2) where 2 identical images render at slightly different sizes. I'll attach a screenshot. The sizes seem to change slightly when the window is resized - sometimes one will be smaller, sometimes the other will be. Sometimes the images both appear to be the same size, yet the table surrounding them doesn't quite shrink to the right size - there is a 1px gap between the bottom border of the image and the bottom border of the table. I suspect this is a rounding problem and it is only minor, but I thought I'd better file it. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Resize screen to 1152x864 2. Maximise browser window 3. View attachment 74757 [details] (see screenshot) 4. Make the window a bit smaller e.g. approx 800x600 - problem seems to go away in some places, but remains in others. Actual Results: See screenshot Expected Results: Pairs of images should be rendered exactly the same size; table cell bottom borders should fit to the image borders exactly with no gap.

Screenshot showing the problem. Taken at 1152x864 resolution with browser maximized. Notes * The first table (A): The code for the 2 cells is identical, yet the rendered size of the image is 513x50 in the first and 512x49 in the second - this causes the 1px gap beween the bottom margins of the IMG (red) and TD (green) * The second table (B) shows a similar effect * The third (C - the same as A except the table width is set to 80%) shows a gap below *both* images!

Worskforme, current linux trunk build. Is this still a problem?

I think this now worksforme on 1.3, Win2K - the images are all rendering the same sizes. I'm still seeing a 1px gap between the red and green bottom borders in example A, though. I can't see any reason why this should be occuring, so I suspect there's still something a bit wrong. Anyone else see this?

Yes, I'm seeing the gap between the bottom borders (trunk Linux) too. Please file a new bug report for this problem (unless it is reported already). Original problem is WFM 2003-08-28-05 trunk Linux. ->WORKSFORME

I'm still seeing this in 1.6a on Win2k. Reopening. A good way to reproduce is to resize you window - you can see the 1px gap coming and going as you resize *horizontally*. I've just tried it, and as the window is made bigger horizontally, obviously the document reflows. If the gap is visible, it disappears for the left image first, then the right, within one 'notch' of the window size. As you resize bigger still, the 1px gap reappears for both images together. Try it for yourself! From this testing it looks like the issue of the 1px gap is closely related, so I don't think it's worth opening another bug for that.
